When Harriet had her first child and subsequently went on to have two more in three years, she knew very few people in Cape Town and all her family lived abroad. It was hard.
This fuelled a passion and drive to build a network of mothers around Cape Town to support each other; a village, if you like. 

The BloomSisterhood was born.

She now hosts various WhatsApp groups and runs regular events to make sure that new mothers feel connected to other mothers. The groups are an invaluable community of support, comfort, love and friendship; a network of help, understanding and giving back.

Her dream is to take this concept into less fortunate areas of Cape Town.
